HEALTHY ACTIVE LEARNING ADVISOR
Want to make a positive difference to the tamariki in primary and intermediate schools across Auckland’s central suburbs?

Sport Auckland in partnership with Aktive are looking to recruit a Healthy Active Learning Advisor who will work directly with selected primary and intermediate schools across the Central Auckland region. This role is critical to Healthy Active Learning, a joint initiative between Sport New Zealand and the Ministries of Health and Education to improve child and youth wellbeing through healthy eating and drinking and quality physical activity.

RECREATION ADVISOR
Are you passionate about the wellbeing of rangatahi (young people aged 12-18) in Tāmaki Makaurau? Do you have a strong understanding of how physical activity, specifically active recreation, can improve wellbeing outcomes for rangatahi?


Sport Auckland in partnership with Aktive are looking to recruit a Rangatahi Recreation Advisor to ensure that rangatahi have access and opportunities to participate in and co-design quality active recreation opportunities that meet their diverse needs. The role will establish partnerships with secondary schools and key active recreation and youth development stakeholders, ensuring the benefits of active recreation are well understood, and facilitating and supporting them to deliver quality active recreation opportunities.

HEALTHY LIFESTYLE ADVISOR
The Healthy Lifestyle Advisor role is specifically responsible for the delivery of the national Green Prescription programme within the Papakura/Franklin region. We particularly encourage applications from Tangata Whenua or Pasifika for this position. it would also be advantageous if you:

  • Connect and resonate with Sport Auckland’s vision and values
  • Have a strong knowledge of and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Are fluent in Te Reo Māori
  • Are passionate about working with whanau and have strong community connections, networks and affinity to the Papakura/Franklin region
  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification and/or have relevant experience in the Health & Wellness or physical activity sector
  • Have work experience in, or strong knowledge of, behavioural change and motivational interviewing techniques
  • Are prepared to work flexible hours, including evening and weekend work.

CUSTOMER SERVICES SUPPORT (Part Time, Fixed Term - 12 months)
We are seeking a Customer Services Support role (25 hours/week) to inspire and engage people onto our Health & Wellbeing programme. The Customer Services Support role is our first internal point of contact for our community so if you’re a super star from a customer service/sales background who is looking for part-time work and have the following attributes we would love to hear from you.

  • Connect and resonate with Sport Auckland’s vision and values
  • Embraces cultural diversity and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Friendly with an excellent phone manner that displays empathy & credibility
  • Build rapport with diverse population of participants and health professionals
  • Sales skills with an ability to overcome objections
  • Is technology literate – including sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Are prepared to work flexible hours
